Sun's ISO 03 sandwich bodies are designed for multi-functional use to permit maximum
circuit flexibility. Due to this versatility, the ISO 03 sandwich bodies do not have a
counterbore for installing o-ring seals. Instead, Sun uses a special seal plate with a raised
"NIB" and a locating "NOTCH". These bodies incorporate oversize, symmetrical mounting
holes to allow the bodies to be rotated about the "NIB" axis and the longitudinal axis to
achieve the desired functionality.

manifold material, with the port type/size a secondary consideration. Manifolds constructed of aluminum are not rated for
pressures higher than 3000 psi (210 bar), regardless of the port type/size specified.
